We print your files as they are received. If we determine there to be any potential issues when printing your file we will contact you before proceeding. Any image editing services required by Millyard Imaging are billed at $75 per hour in 15 minute increments. We will never manipulate or enhance your files without your consent.
IMPORTANT: It is highly recommended that you calibrate your monitor for proper file viewing. If you are working with an non calibrated monitor we cannot guarantee a color match because your monitor is not displaying color correctly.
Artwork Specifications
In order to maximize the quality of your finished piece, your artwork should be submitting as follows:
Accepted file types
PDF, TIFF, EPS, JPEG
When sending RASTER artwork:
We will accept JPEG file formats but TIFF is preferred
- Flatten TIFFs and remove any alpha channels.
- File should be 300 ppi at print size. Less resolution may be acceptable depending on the image content. 8 or 16 bit files are accepted. Do not convert 8 bit files to 16 bit. There is no advantage.
- Make sure your image has an RGB input profile (sRGB, Adobe RGB 1998 etc.).
- Do no use LZW compression when saving TIFFs
- Save JPEG files at MAX QUALITY
When sending VECTOR artwork:
(PDF & EPS) From ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR:
- Embed all images and convert all text to outlines.
- Save print file as an Illustrator EPS
- Include CMYK in postscript when saving as EPS files from ILLUSTRATOR
From COREL DRAW & FREEHAND:
- Convert all text to curves
- Export to Vector EPS file.
From QUARK & PAGEMAKER:
- Embed all images
- Open files using Adobe Illustrator and convert all text to outlines.
- Save print file as Illustrator EPS of PDF
